From draft mode to live mode
Checkedconfirmed by its owner
sheriff binding lets a commit take the specification from draft mode to live mode only once it is ready, and never back (§s-qzthyh7yqvfhsa2).
- The specification is in draft mode until
project.jsonholds the rule that puts it live, and in live mode after. - In draft mode, a symbol without a tag that a commit does not change is reported rather than refused (§s-kkbqcb9xrpaepwn). In live mode, it is refused.
A commit adding that rule is refused unless both of these hold:
- the rule is checked in the commit;
- every symbol of the system's code but its tests carries a tag.
A commit taking that rule out of project.json is refused.
